Dr. Elizabeth Hueman is a board-certified Otolaryngologist–Head & Neck Surgeon specializing in diagnosing and treating ear, nose and throat conditions for both adults and children. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Hueman completed her Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2007 and served as an assistant professor there for one year, during which she developed a new resident clinic and received the residents’ teaching award. She practiced for nine years at Fayetteville Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery before joining Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy in March 2019.
Dr. Hueman’s clinical practice covers all areas of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. Her interests include pediatric ENT, allergy and sinus conditions, snoring, throat infections, neck lumps and ear/hearing problems. She offers a range of medical and surgical treatments, including tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, ear tube placement, thyroid surgery, sinus procedures and neck surgeries. Dr. Hueman lives with her husband and three children and enjoys spending time with family, traveling, playing tennis and running.
