Mallory R. Peters, MD, is a general ENT physician who cares for patients with a wide range of ear, nose, throat, sinus, voice, swallowing and other head and neck conditions. She completed medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. She also holds a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan, where she graduated with distinction.
Dr. Peters enjoys caring for both adults and children and has a special appreciation for the variety within general ENT practice. She treats conditions such as nasal obstruction, sinus disease, ear infections, hearing concerns, tonsil and adenoid problems, thyroid and salivary gland disorders, neck masses, voice changes and swallowing complaints. She also enjoys performing office-based ENT procedures and helping patients understand both nonsurgical and surgical treatment options.
Her interest in otolaryngology began early, including clinical work as a medical assistant in pediatric ENT before medical school. She has also contributed to research in pediatric ENT, laryngology, rhinology, skull base surgery and head and neck skin cancer, with presentations at national otolaryngology meetings.
Dr. Peters believes in clear communication, practical treatment planning and shared decision-making. She strives to make patients feel heard, informed and comfortable with their care plan.
Outside of work, Dr. Peters enjoys hiking, live music, traveling, cheering on Detroit sports teams and spending time with her husband and two dogs, Rocket and Charlie.
