William G. Morrel IV, MD

William G. Morrel IV
MD, FACS

Dr. Will Morrel graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Highest Honors. He attended UNC on a Morehead-Cain scholarship and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa during his junior year. He received his medical degree from UC San Francisco in 2016 and completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2021. While there, he won a prestigious CORE Grant to fund cochlear implantation research.

Dr. Morrel’s practice encompasses all aspects of otolaryngology, but he particularly enjoys ear surgery, sinus surgery and pediatric ENT. He values patient education and strives to help patients understand their treatment options, enabling them to make informed decisions about their care.

Dr. Morrel and his wife, Jessica, both grew up in Cary. They have three children: Madelyn, Liam and Oliver. He enjoys spending time with his kids, watching soccer, making coffee, drinking coffee and reading.
