Dr. Price, a native of eastern North Carolina, completed his undergraduate and medical school studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar and Fellow. His postgraduate surgical and otolaryngology training were completed at UNC hospitals. While at UNC, he also participated in a year-long head & neck oncology fellowship, and he remains on the clinical faculty at UNC Chapel Hill as a clinical instructor.
Dr. Price is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He is also a past president of the North Carolina Society of Otolaryngology. He has specialty training in pediatric airway disorders. He enjoys treating all aspects of pediatric and adult ear, nose and throat disorders, and he regularly helps patients with a wide variety of ENT problems.
Dr. Price is also very involved in the Raleigh community and has served on the boards of the Salvation Army of Raleigh, the Urban Ministries of Raleigh and the Open Door Clinic. Dr. Price is married and has four children. He and his wife, Pamela, were named co-volunteers of the year for the Open Door Clinic. He coaches several sports – most notably basketball—and has recently started playing tennis. He enjoys the beach and traveling to the tropics when he can.
